Challenge

Qosta is a concept project I created as an Elementor template for ceramics and pottery studios. Studios like these often make beautiful work but don’t have a website that conveys their passion for the craft and helps them reach a wider audience.   I wanted to create a complete brand and website that a ceramics studio could adapt to itself and start showcasing its work straight away.

Solution

  • A name that sounds right. I chose the name Qosta for its sound, but it has meaningful links too. It recalls the Mediterranean coast (Italian and Spanish costa, shore) and also Greece, where ceramics has one of the oldest traditions; the word “ceramics” itself comes from the Greek keramos, clay.
  • The letter Q as a mark. A stylised “Q” became a monogram that can be used on its own: on packaging, on social media or as a website icon.
  • Classic meets contemporary. The classic Gilda Display in headings recalls ancient inscriptions, while the clean Work Sans in body text keeps the website contemporary and easy to read.
  • Colours of clay and earth. Deep blacks, a light background and a soft greyish green let the ceramics take the spotlight.
  • Everything in one system. I created a wordmark, a monogram, a colour palette, typography, a landing page design with a mobile version and social media visuals, and brought it all together in an Elementor template.

Result

The project was created in 2024. The Qosta template is live and ready to use, and you can see the preview by clicking “Visit”.   If you like this design, I can adapt it for your studio: set up the website and add your content and photos. Get in touch and we’ll discuss the details.
